WandaVision was filmed Before Live Audience

WandaVision Trailer

Imagine being one of those lucky bastards who got to experience filming a Marvel show.

Promotion Begins!

Entertainment Weekly did a piece on WandaVision recently. In the interview, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Kevin Feige had opened about filming WandaVision, its plot, some characters, and so much more.

One thing to note is that Marvel, those sneaky bastards, have quietly started promotions for WandaVision, which means that WandaVision will be streaming on Disney Plus this December, contradictory to some news we got recently.

The Golden Era of Sitcoms!

According to the piece Entertainment Weekly did, we got to hear some excellent news, and some came as a shock to all of us. WandaVision, as we saw in the trailer, is a shoutout to sitcoms from the 50s to the 90s. In honor of those sitcoms, Marvel decided to do everything the old, old school way.

Six mini-movies

Marvel filmed the six-episode series where each episode ran for a span of one hour before live audience. If you are like me and are planning to search those people and get the plot, well, you are already late because Marvel had them sign very, very strict NDAs. So, there is no chance you are going to get anything from them.

So, if you ignore the “why wasn’t I lucky enough to be in the audience part,” you will find another thing. If you are like me, you would have started dancing since you heard one-hour episodes. Basically, we are getting six mini marvel movies, so I seriously will not complain for a while.

What is actually the Plot?

Are you also confused like I am? Because Monica Rambeau, the small kid from Captain Marvel, will be joining as an Agent of SWORD in the series and the actor playing her, Teyonnah Parris, said that WandaVision would be an action-packed movie. But what we saw in the trailer had just shots of the sitcom and Vision and Wanda living a blissful domestic life.

Live Filming

Elizabeth Olsen is Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany is Vision in Marvel Studios’ WANDAVISION, exclusively on Disney+.

The actors had even said that they filmed live, and by the end of the shoot, they have gotten the hang of it. So now, the question is, where will the action sequence come in? We are sure not every minute of the six-hour series will have the sitcom banter. But not sure what is happening and how they will make it into action-packed ones like every other Marvel show or series.

Yeah, we know that these might be the fake realities Wanda has created and that she is losing her sense of reality, but Marvel is known for doing the unexpected. We can’t really be sure if that’s exactly what’s happening.

No use thinking; let’s just wait and see what is actually happening!
