Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor Manga will end in the Next Issue!

Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor is a light novel series written by Taro Hitsuji and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. A manga adaptation by Aosa Tsunemi started its serialization in Kadokawa’s Shonen Ace magazine. 

The original light novel series was first launched in July 2014, with 18 volumes and eight short story collections released so far. An anime television series adaptation by Liden Films aired from April to June 2017. 

There has been an announcement from the publishing company of the manga regarding the next release of the chapters. Here is what we have gathered about the manga.

Kadokawa’s Shonen Ace magazine published that the manga will end in the magazine’s next issue on June 25. The manga was serialized in March 2015 and has been collected in fifteen tankobon volumes. Seven Seas acts as the English publisher of the manga.

The July issue of the magazine also revealed that this upcoming release will be the last of the manga series. This is indeed sad news for the fans, but since the light novel and the anime is still ongoing, we would suggest you definitely check it out if you haven’t!

The story revolves around two characters Sistine Fibel and Rumia Tingel who are students at a prestigious medical academy. Sistine hopes to fulfil his grandfather’s wish by training hard to discover the hidden secrets of the mysterious Sky Castle.

But all hopes shattered when her favourite instructor gets replaced by a new one, named Glenn who appears to be incompetent and not skilled at magic. However, Sistine is left baffled when she finds out that he is extremely skilled and was hiding his power.
