Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War is an anime TV series adapted from the manga series of the same name by Aka Akasaka. This Romantic Comedy series has given us two installments so far and was well-received by viewers and critics alike. 

Both two seasons ran for 12 episodes, the latest season finished airing in June 2020. The manga sold over 13 million copies in print, and a live-action film has also been adapted from it which was released in September 2019.

Will there be a third season of Kaguya-Sama?

Good news for the fans! The production of season 3 has been confirmed. The announcement was made at a special event on October 1, 2020, titled ‘Kaguya-Sama Wants To Tell You On Stage’. Although there’s no official release date as of now.

The upcoming season will be produced by A1 pictures, well known for their superior work on The Seven Deadly Sins and Sword Art Online. 

Since there is no exact release date, fans might have to wait for a year or more. But since the show has been greenlit for production, let us stay tuned for its new updates!

What can we expect from the coming season ?

The plot follows the story of young teenage love and drama. Kaguya Shinomiya comes from an affluent background, and Miyuki Shirogane is the top student at the school. 

Although they have feelings for each other, both of them are too proud to be the first ones to confess. The story also covers sensitive topics like the relationship with family and classmates.
