Kaiju No.8 Release Date

Kaiju No.8 is a Japanese Shonen Manga written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. The manga is serialized by Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ and a new chapter is released every other week. Considering the production schedule of the series, Kaiju No.8 Chapter 47 is set to release on October 14, 2021. 

However, the release date varies depending on the location of the readers. For international readers, you can expect the latest chapter to be released accordingly:

Kaiju No.8 Chapter 46 Recap

Here’s what went down in the previous chapter of Kaiju No.8:

The Defense Corp is relieved to see the sight of Kaiju No.8. Kafka was finally able to transform into a kaiju after he overcame his fear of losing his will to the Kaiju. He meets up with Kikoru who is having trouble taking care of the Yojus.

The Yojus seem to never seize and Kikoru is shocked to discover the dead Yorus’ were being absorbed by the ant to further evolve. Kafka on the other hand smiles at Kikoru and entrusts her in taking care of the ants. 

Kafka then rushes forward past the Yorus to take care of Kaiju No.9 once and for all. Kaiju No.9 is excited to see Kafka and jokes that his skin has literally grown thicker than before. He declares that he is now ready to kill him.

But in the blink of an eye, Kafka dashes forward, pulling out the core of the ant and destroying it. He had noticed earlier from Kaiju No.9’s fight with Kikoru that his core was also there inside the ant. Seeing that thing made him realize that he was not drawing out the full power of his Kaiju. He then moves swiftly dodging the repeated attacks of Kaiju No.9. Kaiju No.8 then leaps into the sky and slams into the ant’s head, flattening it.
