Actor Sanchari Vijay Dies, Family Will Donate His Organs

The celebrated Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay passed away on June 14 in Bengaluru. The actor reportedly met with an accident on Saturday evening. His injuries from the accident proved to be fatal.
Actor Vijay also had emergency brain surgery on Sunday, but he could not be saved. The hospital announced that he was brain dead. After his death, his family announced that the deceased actor’s organs will be donated.
Vijay was a well-known actor in the theatre circle in Karnataka. He is popularly known for films like Naanu Avanalla…Avalu, Killing Veerappan, and Nathicharami among many others.
Some fans also pointed out the death of brilliant actors on June 14. Today is also the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput‘s first death anniversary.

Sanchari Vijay Accident
Vijay was riding on a motorcycle with his friend Naveen. The actor was in the backseat of the bike while his friend was driving. The bike then reportedly skidded and hit an electric pole. While Naveen fractured his leg, Vijay was grievously injured.
The accident reportedly took place around 11:45 PM on Saturday. The state lockdown because of COVID was still in force at this time.
It was reported that the duo was out to buy medicines. Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Naveen.
Very very disheartening to accept that Sanchari Vijay breathed his last.

The Actor’s Death
Vijay’s brother, Siddesh Kumar confirmed his death on June 14. He also informed the media that the family has decided to donate his organs.
Dr. Arun Naik, senior consultant neurosurgeon at the Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru said that Vijay was in a serious condition. “A CT scan of the brain was done which showed very severe brain injury in addition to a subdural hematoma (brain bleeding),” the doctor reported.
Dr. Naik also said that immediate brain surgery was done for Vijay to remove the brain hemorrhage after he was admitted to the hospital.
The doctors have previously told them that Vijay’s chances of survival were very slim. His brain stem failed and could not be revived.

“As you all know he always worked for the betterment of society. He even worked round the clock on the relief efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic. So, we have decided to donate his organs. We believe that it will bring him peace,” the late actor’s brother said.
The deceased’s family thanked everyone who supported him and took care of him. They said that he will continue to help society even after his death. He will continue to help society even in death.
