Scarlett Johansson NSFW Leak: Was justice really served?

Discrimination based on gender, race and everything that there is, happens all over the world. But even though people give a voice for justice and equality outside, when a celebrity gets caught, they don’t show the same mercy to them.

Internet or Netizens, rip the celebrity apart, and their image is completely depleted. Suddenly Chris Evans’ NSFW leak made the headlines, and it had the direct opposite reaction that has always given to any celebrity whose Nudes have been leaked.

Now, we are delighted that Chris is okay and that people took care of him. In fact, people went out of their way and made sure he is fine by bombarding the internet with Puppy pics.

Lost morals?

Now the question remains, have we gone so wrong in our morals that we would protect a guy who leaked his nudes online (by mistake) but will call all kinds of slurs and share max when a woman’s nude pictures are hacked and leaked?

To those who don’t know what happened, here it is…

Scarlett Johansson’s iPhone was hacked and her private pictures where leaked to the internet in 2011. It was done by a hacker named Christopher Chaney from Florida. The hacker had also targeted 50 other celebrities like this.

Law served its purpose!

The hacker was sent to prison for 10 years. The legal system lent a hand for Scarlett but not the people. People tore her image down called all kinds of words, popular magazines printed the pictures, and she was in hell a lot of trauma.

Always the one to be blamed?

One of the most asked questions was, ‘Why are you dumb?’ and ‘Why are you taking nude pictures of yourself?’. And that you are a woman, you should be the careful one.

Now, after the incident took place, we thought all is lost with the world and its morale. But the way people handled Chris’ NSFW leak gave us hope maybe it’s not that bad. Perhaps, there is still hope.
