Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie Episode 11 Recap

We got a nice look into Shikimori and Izumi’s backstories. Izumi was always concerned about his tragedy in middle school. On school trips, he is routinely hurt and left behind. Izumi decided to postpone the school trip when a teddy bear flew out of nowhere toward one of his pals.

To relieve his stress, Izumi visits a temple shrine. There, in a harrowing scene, we see him asking the gods why people suffer, especially him.  Shikimori loved to frequently hang out with her brother, Fuji, when they were both young. She loved to follow him as he practiced karate.
