That Time I Got Reincarnated as A Slime has had several notable spin-off series over the years, with Monster Nation being highly praised by many manga readers. The series started in 2016 and produced several volumes to delve into various aspects of the Isekai world.

The company mentioned that they tried to restart the publication but faced challenges in resuming serialization. The manga had been on a break, with plans to start serialization again in 2022.

Yen Press publishes the series in English and summarizes the story:

The publisher of the spin-off series in Japan, Comic Ride, released a statement about Okagiri Koharu’s health problems and the conclusion of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime’s spin-off series.

We have been exploring ways to resume serialization with the author, but it has become difficult to resume serialization with a full lineup, so we have decided to end the serialization.
