Netflix’s newly released Rise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a twist no one would expect.
In the movie’s first half, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(TMNT) try to stop the ceremony The Foot Clans performed to free the Krang. The Krangs take away the Ninjas’ power which makes it difficult for them to fight. And when they realize that their rivals are too powerful and Master Splinter is hurt, they decide to retreat to their escape pods. But Leo gets out of his escape pod to get the mystic key, and his older brother Raph decides to help him, which results in him getting kidnapped by the krang.

The Krang reads his mind to find out where his comrades are by hurting him. When the ninja turtles go to rescue him they find him in a slimy bubble like thing, which they cut open to save him. But they find out that he has turned into a krang zombie. Raph then develops tentacles like a krang on his right hand, claws on his left hand, and a krang like tongue. He even grows spikes on his back and gets super powerful. He also gives away the mystic key to the Krang and follows them to their ship.
In the second half of the movie, Raph gets into a fight with his younger brother Leo when he tries to go save him. Leo then finally gives up fighting with him and says sorry that he didn’t understand him before, which brings Raph back to life, back to his natural form, and at that point Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles get their powers back.
