Gwyneth Paltrow And Brad Pitt: Everything You Need To Know

Gwyneth Paltrow is without a doubt a star who conquered the 90s and is still not letting the shimmer down.

For us millennials, the 90s were mostly drinking milk and wishing the tooth fairy gave us our pocket money, but for Gwyneth, it was the time she dated the A-listers and gave the performances of her career.

Not only was Gwyneth Paltrow a star everyone couldn’t stop talking about, but she was also the star everyone wanted to date in the 90s. Well, it was all before the Goop, so we get it.

Gwyneth had her share of failed relationships, failed marriages, and failed engagements, I mean, which Hollywood celebrity doesn’t.

But the one with Brad Pitt was the most shocking.

We are always so focused on Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston when it comes to Brad Pitt that we forget that Pitt once dated Paltrow.

Well, it was more than just dating because Pitt was in love with her and even proposed to her. All of this started in 1994, and later Pitt proposed, and Paltrow said “yes.”

But all of a sudden, in 1997, they both announced their split and went separate ways. After that, the battle that started among fans that have lasted till today, Team Jolie and Team Aniston, began.

But frankly, we think both deserve better. Yeah, we love Pitt, but something is wrong, and he never fit in with these women, so let’s leave them be.

Brad and Gwyneth met on the sets of Se7en and hit it off quickly. But they broke up eventually, and we did see Pitt telling that she was the love of his life.

But we think it might’ve been Gwyneth who wanted out because she gave a statement telling that Pitt was just ‘too good’ for her.

Brad Pitt The perfect boyfriend?

Agree or not, Brad Pitt is the guy every straight girl wants to date, and Jolie or Aniston was no exception either.

Gwyneth was the first in that order, and immediately after the breakup, she dated Ben Affleck, and that lasted till 2000.

On the other hand, Brad Pitt licked his wounds and met Aniston, the love of his life (for some time), and married her.

The marriage didn’t last, and he went on to marry Jolie, who also filed for a divorce in 2016. The legal issues with them are still not yet over, though.

But, Pitt has managed to keep a friendly relationship with Aniston and Paltrow over the years. He has, on many occasions be seen more than being friendly with Aniston.

But we never thought that Paltrow and Pitt had some friendship going on until Gwyneth told in an interview on 28^th April to Vogue.

“I believe I was on set with Brad Pitt, He was so nice, and we were a very ’90s couple. I know that the Calvin Klein leather jacket is one of my favorite pieces. I’ve always dressed in jeans and a white T-shirt.”

“And I’m friendly with Brad Pitt. I don’t have any really bad blood,” she revealed in her February 2020 cover story for Harper’s Bazaar.

So, yeah, Pitt dates A-listers, but something about him makes even his exes friendly; we guess Jolie and him are not in that phase yet, though.
