Tatsuya Endo’s Spy X Family is a Japanese manga series written and drawn by him. The plot revolves around a spy who is forced to “create a family” in order to complete a task, not understanding that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the lady he accepts to be in a sham marriage with are both mind readers and assassins.

The first episode opens with Westalis’ envoy dying in a vehicle accident. They believe this was a premeditated assassination planned by someone with malicious intentions.
