When can we expect Dr Stone Season 3 to be released and other details!
The anime series Dr Stone is an adaptation of the manga series of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. The adventurous fantasy anime is gradually making its popularity among the anime community with its exhilarating plot and impressive animation.
The second season which recently concluded focused on the “Stone Wars” arc and the creators have managed to deliver outstanding material. As the final episode concluded on March 25, 2021, fans are curious to know the renewal status of Dr Stone.
When will Dr Stone Season 3 air?
Season 1 of the anime aired from July to December 2019, followed by the second season from January to March 2021. As for the release date of the next season, there’s good news for the fans.
A sequel was announced just after the second season’s final episode premiered. Fans can check out the epic trailer which confirmed the renewal status of the show. Season 3 will start from the Age of the Exploration Arc with the building of the Perseus.
Unfortunately, the trailer does not give an exact release date. It was only reported that viewers can expect season 3 exactly a year after the last season finale, so expect it to release in 2022!
What is the Anime about and Where to watch it?
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans are petrified into stones. A scientific genius, Senku Ishigami wakes up from his sleep and plans to rebuild human civilization. He manages to successfully de petrify some people.
However, disagreement amongst them results in the foundation of two conflicting empires. Senku commands the Kingdom of Science while Tsukasa leads the Empire of Might.
