5 Underrated MCU Films That Doesn’t Get The Attention It Deserves

According to a trending post doing rounds on Reddit, these are the top 5 underrated movies of MCU. Would you add anything else to the list?

Captain America 1

It’s the perfect level of campy and action-packed to sell the idea that “Captain America” would be a concept that could work in a grounded world.

Werewolf by Night

A homage to classic horror with a self-contained story. Its aesthetic and personality set it apart from the MCU, but we genuinely think it’s a direction that should be explored more.

Ant-Man

Redditors find it one of the funniest MCU films mainly because of Luis.

Thor (2011)

Loki Episode 6: Avengers Dialogues In The Intro

Most treat it as just a cookie cutter setup movie to the Avengers. But the scenes on Asgard have some truly beautiful moments that feel like a grand Shakespearean drama. Unfortunately, these get overshadowed by the earth based plot, which (aside from introducing Darcy) is very forgettable.

Iron Man 3

The character development, in particular, is incredible, and we love the “fish out of water” take. It has some of the best action sequences in the MCU, and the exploration of PTSD and trauma was also super interesting and unique for an MCU movie. It has some flaws, but it’s so easy to rewatch and still very enjoyable.
