While it may not just be the first time MCU fans have foreseen something and gotten fooled, this time, they may be right, as this rumour is gaining momentum.

Seeing Chris Evans return as Captain America in the MCU may not just be a dream anymore. Fans have long been speculating that Chris Evans will appear alongside the few OG Avengers left in the Avengers 5 movie.

But neither Marvel nor the actor had given any confirmation on the matter. In fact, Chris Evans strongly suggested that he will miss being a part of the crew but will not be returning.

But MCU fans have been in this rodeo long enough to know that his statement actually holds no value until they see the movie themselves and believe.

Last time we saw both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield swear the same thing before No Way Home dropped, so we are not taking Chris’ statement seriously.

Even though fans want it to happen, many started to give up hope because the Doomsday crew has wrapped up filming, and we have no sightings of Chris Evans.

The thing with Marvel is that it is bound to secrecy to the very last minute, so you cannot give up hope yet.

According to an insider, Chris Evans will not just return but will also play a major role in the  Avengers: Doomsday.

While some are guessing he might return as Steve Rogers, there are many who think he might just return as one of the variants of Steve Rogers from another universe.

While the rumours behind Doomsday are flaring up, the hype and expectation for the film is set to blow our minds, that’s for sure.

With Robert Downey Jr returning to the MCU as Doctor Doom, we desperately want a fight between Steve Rogers and Doctor Doom like the one we got in Civil War.
