Yoruichi Shihouin
A century before Bleach’s current timeline, Yoruichi was the Captain of Squad 2, and her speed surpasses Soi Fon’s. She is arguably one of the strongest female characters in anime, which is quite an accomplishment given the fact that she has never revealed her Shikai or Bankai.
When it comes to Shunpo and hand-to-hand combat, Yoruichi is a master, and her Kido skills are nothing to laugh at. She mastered Shunko to the point that she could enter a highly volatile form called Shunryu Kokubyo Senki. This transformation is a combination of her human and cat forms, and she is protected by an aura of electrical energy.
Mashiro Kuna
Mashiro served as the Squad 9 Lieutenant more than a century ago, and when the war with Aizen was over, she returned to her former position. So far, Mashiro has not released her Zanpakuto, which is understandable given the fact that she is a master of hand-to-hand combat. That being said, she primarily attacks with her heavy kicks.

Soi Fon is the Captain of Squad 2, but she is also the commander of the Stealth Force—an organization that focuses on covert operations. She is a Shunpo master, which means that she is one of the fastest characters in Bleach. She can create speed clones and use Shunko, which combines hand-to-hand combat and Kido.
Soi Fon’s speed makes her Shikai especially deadly, as Suzumebachi’s stinger-like blade creates a butterfly-shaped stamp on the victim’s body; if she strikes the same spot twice, her opponent will die within seconds. Her Bankai is a lot more flashy, as it is a homing missile that causes an intense explosion.
Momo Hinamori
Many international Bleach fans dislike Momo and consider her to be the worst-written character in the series. This stems from the fact that she loved Aizen and was willing to die for him even though he manipulated her.
That being said, Momo is still a mighty Soul Reaper who rose to the rank of Lieutenant of Squad 5. She excels at Kido to the point that she can cast multiple spells in quick succession. Her Zanpakuto is called Tobiume, and it allows her to release explosive fireballs.

Rukia Kuchiki
Rukia has been by Ichigo’s side since the beginning, and she defeated the 9th Espada by herself. She was named the Lieutenant of Squad 13 before the Quincy War. By the end of the series, she becomes the Squad’s new Captain.
Sode no Shirayuki is Rukia’s Shikai and its various “dances” are designed to freeze enemies. Her Bankai is extremely powerful, and it turns Rukia into an ice princess. She creates a pillar of cold mist. Anyone caught in the mist is frozen solid. They then crumble seconds later.
