Jujutsu Kaisen has become the latest phenomenon in the world of manga and anime; something that the industry was beginning to need after the international impact of “Kimetsu no Yaiba“. With the Gege Akutami anime about to conclude its first season on air, there are many who are waiting to see what awaits us regarding the story of Yuuji and company. We should not rule out that a movie announcement would soon happen.
This tweet from WSJ Manga who has alerted to the possibility of having a feature film for “Jujutsu Kaisen“:
The domain https://t.co/WnZK0OGrLN was recently registered. There’s no official confirmation or tease about any announcements or upcoming news from the series, so it’s yet unknown whether the domain is official. We’ll report any information on the matter.

As the tweet mentions, at the moment there is no way to clearly know if the domain of “Jujutsu Kaisen” is one that has been registered by the official bodies. In this sense, it would not be the first time that someone decides to take over an unofficial domain that ultimately ends in nothing. However, the truth is that the ‘timing’ for this record is at least ideal.
As we have previously pointed out, “Jujutsu Kaisen” is close to ending its first season, something that will take place this Friday. With this in mind, it is more than feasible that a series of long-term plans have already been agreed with MAPPA to further exploit the success of Akutami-sensei’s work. Likewise, it is inevitable to highlight the parallels of the work – in terms of success – with respect to “Kimetsu no Yaiba” , so a theatrical release could also be considered as a natural step for “Jujutsu Kaisen“.
In any case, at the moment we have no alternative but to be patient with new announcements regarding “Jujutsu Kaisen“. If a film is really being produced, we should not have to wait too long for the official announcement, so we will have to be attentive to what the broadcast of episode 24 tells us.
