Kevin Smith Confirms His Howard the Duck Marvel Show Will Continue To Move Forward on Hulu

Howard the Duck To Move Forward On Hulu

With Marvel Entertainment bringing so many changes, fans were confused if it would have any impact on Howard the Duck show. The company recently announced that it would undergo a huge reorganization. Furthermore, it would bring all of the company’s different departments under Kevin Feige’s supervision. Feige himself was moving from president of Marvel Studios to the Chief Creative Officer of Marvel. However, filmmaker and fan Kevin Smith insists that these changes haven’t impacted his Howard the Duck series.

Kevin Smith And His Recent Interview:

During a recent episode of his Fatman Beyond podcast with Marc Bernardin, Kevin Smith spoke about Loeb’s impact on Marvel Television. Furthermore, he also expressed his excitement about how things have been going on.

Smith says about Loeb’s time at Marvel TV coming to a close, “Jeph I spoke to about it not too long ago. He wasn’t like ‘f**k!’ he was like ‘this is cool, I’m ready to do something.'” Smith then continues, “Remember, we’re now coming into an age where Kevin Feige has the Marvel shows on Disney+ and they’re gonna be f**king amazing. Everything I’ve heard about WandaVision is f**king incredible.”

“That being said there was a time when we were so f**king delighted to have a legit wonderful Daredevil and that came from Jeph,” he continued. “We were so excited, maybe I was, to have a legit wonderful Runaways. I absolutely loved that f**king show.”

Smith’s Comments About The Upcoming Days In Marvel:

The list goes on and on and they were carrying the torch and trying to connect them to the movies when they were allowed and stuff like that. I thought they did a wonderful job, the whole way. There’s nobody who leaves that operation with shame. And I’ll be honest with you, it makes absolute sense what they’re doing, to put it all under Kevin Feige like he’s got the movies now, he’s got the TV shows and the comic books it sounds like are going to be under him as well. That makes absolute f**king sense. It takes nothing away from all the great work that Jeph and Marvel Television have done for the last ten years.

The filmmaker then goes on to reveal things about his animated show Howard the Duck. According to him, Howard the Duck is still going forward for development. Furthermore, it will premiere on Hulu. He says in his interview, “Now, Marvel TV won’t cease to exist it’s just becoming this different version. I hear the Hulu shows are still alive. So far, so good for Howard the Duck. I’ll let you know if anything happens.”

About Howard the Duck:

Howard the Duck is an animated series that we found out about in February this year. Along with this, there was an announcement of three other series. These include Patton Oswalt’s Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. as well. This would be followed by Hit-Monkey and then Dazzler & Tigra. Howard the Duck will go last. As of now, the makes are at least a year away from the cartoon. However, they assure fans that it will be good because Marvel doesn’t do anything bad.

While Smith doesn’t have any specific updates about Howard the Duck, he is confident about the direction things with Marvel Television were going in the future.
