Initially, One Piece Episode 996 was set to air on Sunday, October 17th, 2021. However, a break for a week was announced by the official website of Fuji TV. Some reports at first believed that the delay may have been caused by the Tokyo Marathon’s broadcast. However, this isn’t the reason as the marathon has been postponed to March 2022.
