Secret Invasion is Connected Heavily With Maria Hill

MCU Reveals The Genre Of Secret Invasion

The well-liked Secret Invasion series on Disney+ will premiere in the spring of 2023, and MCU veteran Cobie Smulders is just as excited for people to watch it as the fans are.

As per TvLine, She gave the movie high marks, and it has a very distinct tone from anything I’ve seen in the MCU. Sam [Jackson] is always exciting to watch in anything, but I believe this movie develops his character in a way I’ve always been interested in.

Secret Invasion

Samuel L. Jackson will play Nick Fury in Secret Invasion, the MCU’s Phase 5 opener and Ben Mendelsohn will reprise her role as former S.H.I.E.L.D. deputy director Maria Hill in the Disney+ series. The story, which was first created in December 2020, centers on a group of Skrulls that have invaded every facet of life on Earth.
Smulders would be unable to argue that Maria Hill is in any way served by the small-screen drama. However, she claimed that it was the greatest depth she had ever displayed in The Avengers, Endgame, or Spider-Man: No Way Home. The appeal of the Marvel television series is that you can learn about the character’s backstories. What sort of discussion takes place when everyone is just hanging out and drinking coffee? It sounds like, “Let’s just converse,”

Smulders said, “They’re geniuses at Marvel, so they’re going to be setting up something I can’t talk about or have the ability to comprehend.” Smulders was mum on the specifics of Secret Invasion’s role in bringing about the MCU’s Phase 5 and 6 (the latter of which concludes in November 2025 with the film Avengers: Secret Wars).

Smulders will next be seen in Freevees’ eight-episode drama series High School, which will debut on Friday, October 14. High School is based on the acclaimed memoir of indie music duo Tegan and Saras.
