Log Horizon Season 4: Will it get renewed?
Log Horizon is an adaptation of the Japanese novel series written by Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara. Studio Deen launched the anime, with Shinji Ishihira handling the direction of the series and Toshizo Nemoto working as the writer.
Since its initial release in 2013, Log Horizon has been among the top shows which largely deals with Isekai themes. It is not surprising to see all the attention the anime is getting since the creators present the viewers with an intriguing storyline and brilliant animation.
As the third season recently concluded, fans of the anime are anxious to know if their favourite show will be back. If you are one of those wondering about the renewal status, here’s everything we have gathered so far.
Will there be a Season 4 of Log Horizon?
Season 1 aired on October 5, 2013, followed by the second season on October 4, 2014. After a long gap, the third season came out on January 13, 2021. And fans and critics are of the view that season 3 was definitely worth the wait as the work put out by the team was mindblowing in every way.
Regarding Season 4, there is no official statement on the renewal status by the makers. But since usually the comeback of the show depends on the success it achieves, there is a high chance we might see the anime hit our screens again.
Also, the previous season took some years to launch, so anything is possible. Until they release an announcement we cannot confirm anything. However, we can continue to expect Season 4 to release at some point in time.
Log Horizon Season 4: What to expect?
The plot of the anime revolves around Shiroe and other gamers who get transported inside the MMORPG game ”Elder Tale” following a game update. As the story progresses, they try to adapt to the new world, make alliances and relationships, while embarking on new quests.
In the next season, we can expect to see some romantic development between Shiroe and Akatsuki. And also more insights regarding the civil war in Minami will perhaps be presented to us. The rescue operation to save Kanami and Krusty by Reyneshia might succeed.
