Rui (Demon Slayer)

Rui is one of the twelve Kizuki under Muzan Kibutsuji’s rule in Demon Slayer. Despite appearing as a child, he is the leader of a coven of spider demons that live atop a forested mountain. Having felt abandoned by his parents, Rui recruited others to be his demon family.

However, it is not until later that Rui remembers that his parents were only trying to protect him from becoming a monster. Remembering his parents’ love and lamenting his mistakes, Rui dies at Giyu Tomioka’s hand.

Scar (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)

Scar is an Ishvalan expatriate on a mission to destroy Solf J. Kimblee. Years ago, during the Ishvalan War, Kimblee brutally murdered Scar’s brother and even ripped off Scar’s arms. Scar uses his brother’s alchemical research to destroy every State Alchemist he sees until he finally gets to Kimblee.

Scar’s love for his brother and the sorrow of his loss fuels Scar’s vendetta against Kimblee. Scar stops at nothing to achieve his goal of bringing Kimblee to the same end.

Twice (My Hero Academia)

Jin Bubaigawara (also known as Twice) was always down on his luck in My Hero Academia. He was mistreated and did not have the best life. Yet, he thought that his Double Quirk would help solve his problems and he could live in peace. Unfortunately, they all turned on each other, leaving him to wonder if he was the real Jin or just a copy.

Lost and suffering from a mental breakdown, Jin was taken in by the League of Villains. Jin is very trusting of people and often lets his guard down. It leads to him accidentally leaking information to the heroic spy, Hawks. Crushed that he is once again let down by people he thought were friends.

Izanami (Noragami)

Izanami is a god as old as time from Noragami. Despite being an all-powerful being, Izanami often gets lonely. Therefore, whenever she has visitors, she attempts to appear as a person who would be the most appealing to them.

Having no contact with the outside world for millennia, Izanami only wants to have someone to talk to. Although her methods leave a lot to be desired.
