The Strongest Female Marines In One Piece

Here is everything you need to know about the strongest female marines in One Piece.

TashigiTashigi

Tashigi has never truly been a rival to Roronoa Zoro, but that doesn’t mean she is without combat merit. The Marine Captain is legitimately a top-tier swordswoman, and her strong moral compass makes her a vital asset to the efforts of Vice Admiral Smoker. Given Tashigi’s long-standing presence in One Piece, there are plenty of on-screen moments that demonstrate her capabilities.

During the Punk Hazard arc, Tashigi squares off against Monet, a Logia-type Devil Fruit user working as an officer for the Donquixote Pirates. While she has help from Roronoa Zoro, Tashigi ultimately deals the final blow of the battle, demonstrating that she’s at least proficient in terms of Armament and Observation Haki.

GionGion

Vice Admiral Gion is arguably the most significant unknown variable in the entirety of the Marines. Alongside Doll and Tsuru, she forms one-third of the Marines’ highest-ranking trio of females, and it is even stated that she was legitimately considered for the role of Admiral after Akainu received his latest promotion.

Gion’s rank and reputation mean that she must be overwhelmingly powerful. All Vice Admirals are confirmed to be Haki users, but there has been no confirmation regarding which types Gion can wield, making it almost impossible to predict her abilities. Considering her high-ranking position, fans will hopefully be able to see her in action soon.

TsuruTsuru

Monkey D. Garp, Silvers Rayleigh, Sengoku, Whitebeard, and the most well-known female in the history of the Marines. Tsuru might have lost a step or two since their primes, but they would easily demolish all but the series’ most powerful fighters.

Tsuru, like many other female Marines, has yet to get much of a chance to shine. However, several signs point to her power. Donquixote Doflamingo discontinues his pursuit of Trafalgar D. Law in the North Blue after he encounters Tsuru’s ship.

Bell-mereBell-mere

Bell-mere holds the honor of being the first female Marine to appear in One Piece. She retires after adopting Nami and Nojiko. Bell-mere served as a member of the World Government’s military forces for years after joining their ranks. Her training instilled a deep-seated disdain for unruly pirates.

Compared to virtually any Marine officer, Bell-mere is a complete pushover. The Arlong Pirates would pose minimal risk to Marines in the New World.

HinaHina

Once Marines reach the rank of Rear Admiral, they are considered some of the highest-ranking officers in the entire military force. This is certainly the case for Hina, who directly reports to Marine Headquarters rather than any direct superior.

Unfortunately, Hina hasn’t played much of a role in any of One Piece’s larger conflicts. However, she easily captures the Baroque Works agent, Mr. 2. And after the defeat of Crocodile, she is placed in Alabasta by the Marines to prevent any further conflicts.
